Mardi Himal Trek Overview

Mardi Himal Trek is a challenging and beautiful short trek within the Annapurna area. It offers breathtaking views of the Himalayan mountain range. Mardi Trek meanders through lush valleys, alpine meadows, lichen-laden dense forests, numerous streams, and waterfalls. All these are the fascinating mountain scenery gleaming upon the close horizon.

An eco-trek in the quintessence, the way is so little utilized. You feel like embarking upon a discovery expedition when you go through this route. We start the trek from Kade near Pokhara and spend our first night in Pothana Deurali. From that point, go into the full wilderness for days until we move out from there into the village of Siding. From Siding, we return to Pokhara, where it ends this exciting Annapurna hike ends through the wild nature.

Our Mardi Himal Trek starts from Pokhara, like the other treks in the Annapurna Region. Depending on the time you like to spend, the itinerary can be customized to accommodate the total trip. So the trek will be either for less than a week or for about two weeks. You can bring a full dive into the virtually untouched territories of the natural world when you familiarize yourself with the alpine flora and fauna as well as the high-altitude mountain terrain. You can enjoy the scenery of the Annapurna Ranges. Like Annapurna I, Annapurna II, Annapurna IV, Lamjung Himal, Hiunchuli, Mardi Himal, and numerous other peaks, if the weather is fine.

Abc+mardi himal with OHT

2025-03-20

It was our first visit to Nepal but definitely not last!
Mostly thanks to the whole OHT team.
Everything was planned perfectly from our pick up from airport till our drop off.
We contacted Ram couple weeks before our arrival and planned the trek based on our preferences. We choose ABC+ Mardi Himal which was a great option for a first visit. What was more important is that we could make changes in the plan it wasn’t tight schedule.
Reasons why I would choose OHT in my future treks in Nepal:
-overall safety: no matter what I could always text or call with any emergency/change of plans and got answer within 5 minutes
-safety on the trek: our guide (Deepak) based our day personally to our capacity and tiredness.
-overall trek plan based on our preferences.
– lodges and hotels- they were perfectly chosen
– extra activities outside of trekking- especially cultural and religious sites- our guide Krishna was well educated in that matter and gave us some insights into Buddhism and Hinduism.

Special thanks to:
-Ram-for organising everything and for helping us out with everything during our stay
-Dipak for being patient with us and for being our guard angel
– Prakash-for carrying our heavy bag during trek

Overall 10/5 experience!
