Manaslu Circuit Trek is challenging as it takes you to the maximum elevation of 5,106 m (Larkya La Pass) but is completely worth it. Solo trekking is not allowed in this off-beat trail and a Manaslu restricted area permit is required along with ACAP and Manaslu Conservation Area to trek.
Manaslu Circuit Trek via Larkya Pass takes you through lowlands, low-altitude villages, high-altitude settlements, and alpine pastures. It takes you through banks of rivers and roaring fountains, in Manaslu region with untouched nature and varying cultures and ethnicities. The trek usually starts at Machha Khola via Arughat and gradually ascends to Larkya La Pass (5,106m) traversing several settlements. Then, descends again to an end at Syange village near Besishahar. Since Besishahar is the starting point of the Annapurna Circuit, you can also combine Manaslu Circuit Trek with Annapurna Circuit Trek, and enjoy the best of Manaslu Annapurna regions.
