Flight Information

Plus, the air traffic in Kathmandu during April, May, October, and November can be a bit tough to manage. Therefore, the flights to Lukla are operated from Ramechhap, a 4-hour drive from Kathmandu. Everest Base Camp Trek begins with a short scenic domestic flight to Lukla. Afterward, you rely on your own feet for the rest of the journey. From the first day, the journey blends beautiful mountain views with authentic local Sherpa culture experience. The trail follows the Dudhkoshi River (upstream) and passes through Dudhkoshi Valley surrounded by Thamserku and Kusum Kanguru peaks. You’ll pass through the colorful Namche Bazaar, Tengboche, and Gorakshep to reach the iconic Everest Base Camp. After which you ascend to Kalapatthar, the highest point on our EBC trek. From there, you can witness Everest, Cho-Oyu, Pumori, etc. from closer. This trek involves spending most nights in teahouses or lodges. We set aside enough time for an acclimatization or rest.
