Day 1: |
|
Arrival/Transfer - Kathmandu. Meet our airport representative and get transferred to your hotel in Kathmandu. Depending on how much time you have for the rest of the day, you may explore the city of Kathmandu. In the evening, meet your tour leader and guide for a briefing of the activities scheduled for the next two week. |

Day 2: |
|
Kathmandu-Pokhara by coach. It is a scenic drive, about 6-7 hours long, stopping for breakfast and lunch on the way. Check in at your hotel and get some rest. Take a refreshing walk by the Lakeside area. |

Day 3: |
|
Pokhara - Jomsom - Kagbeni. Wake up early in the morning and board the flight from Pokhara to Jomsom (2750M). Have breakfast at Jomsom and start hiking to Kagbeni (2800M), which takes about 4-5 hours. There is an old monastery in Kabeni worth visiting and impressions of Tibetan culture worth observing in the village. Under a clear sky you can also enjoy an amazing view of Nilgiri mountain. |

Day 4: |
|
Kagbeni - Chele. Resume walking early in the morning, enter the Restricted Area and finally stop at Chele (3050M) for the night. Your trail for the 6-7 hour walk follows upstream Kaligandaki River, passes two villages, Tangbe and Chusang. The final part of the trek is a bit difficult as you need to climb uphill for about an hour. |

Day 5: |
|
Chele - Sangboche (3860M). Today also you will walk for about 6-7 hours, crossing the Yamda La Pass on your way. Nearly 4 hours of the hike involves uphill climbing whereas the final part is quite easy, being downhill. Bhena Hotel and Samar village lie on the way. Spend the night at a local teahouse at Sangboche. |

Day 6: |
|
Sangboche - Charang ( 3560M). Continue the journey on foot, walking for nearly 8 hours via villages like Tamagaon, Chhungar, Jhaite and enjoying excellent views of Nilgiri and Tilicho peaks. Charang, the stopover of the day, is one of the biggest settlements in the Mustang region. Visiting the village and the main monastery there is highly recommended. |

Day 7: |
|
Charang - Lo Manthang (3809M). Today you will walk less, for only about 5 hours but enjoy the appealing landscape along the way. There are no villages until you arrive at Lo Manthangere are not any village before Lo Manthang itself and you will go through a windy pass before reaching there. Lo Manthang is considered the wall of Mustang. |

Day 8: |
|
Lo Manthang exploration. No need to hurry today, just take you time and explore Lo Manthang at your own pace. Places worth visiting are villages of Arpha and Chosar and the beautiful palace where the King of Mustang resides. He welcomes his visitors but speaks only Tibetan. He is believed to be the one responsible for finding solutions to the problems of the locals. |

Day 9: |
|
Lo Manthang - Dhakmar (3820M). Resume your trek and head towards Dhakmar via Marang La. Visit one of the oldest monasteries in the region. Normally it takes about 7 hours to reach Dhakmar from Lo Manthang. Explore the village of Dhakmarin the evening and spend the night at a local teahouse. |

Day 10: |
|
Dhakmar - Ghiling (3570M). Start walking early in the morning and in about 6 hours arrive at Ghiling, your stopover for the night. Two beautiful passes lie on your way, namely, Ghemi La and Nyi La. |

Day 11: |
|
Ghiling - Chhusang (2980M). Continue your journey on foot and walk for about 7 hours via Syangbuche village and Samar Pass. You are advised not to miss the monastery inside a cave. Your guide will try to explain about its importance. Before you reach Chhusang your trail takes a downhill route. |

Day 12: |
|
Chhusang - Mukitnath (3800M). Your destination for today is Muktinath, at a walking distance of about 7 hours, the first 5 hours being a bit difficult while the last 2 hours are easy enough. Mukinath is deemed sacred by both Hindus and Buddhists, not to miss their famous shrines that attract thousands of religious tourists every year. It also offers a lovely view of the Dhaulagiri mountain range. |

Day 13: |
|
Mukinath to Jomsom (2750). Today is the last day of your trek and the 5 hour walk to Jomsom is fairly easy. Explore the district headquarter in the evening, check some local shops for souvenirs, interact with locals and go to bed early. You have an early morning flight to catch tomorrow. |

Day 14: |
|
Jomsom - Pokhara - Kathmandu. Fly back to Pokhara and catch a bus back to Kathmandu. However, if you wish to spend a few more days in Pokhara, just inform your tour leader so that necessary arrangements can be made for your return.
