Also, authentic local culture, tempting art, and slices of everything define India as a whole. Starting from the towns rooted in ancient history to the simmering modernity and luxurious mega cities of India. It’s almost impossible to cover all the tourist destinations of this nation in a single package. However, our team has come up with the close to perfect tour encapsulating the delights of India in one.

India in a Kaleidoscope tour starts in New Delhi, the sprawling capital city of the nation. From the busy streets of Delhi, we move to one of the holiest lands of India, Varanasi. One of the oldest centers of the Hindu religion besides the mighty Ganges. We will gaze and soak in the rituals and offerings of devotees from all around the world. We visit Sarnath, where Gautama the Buddha delivered his first sermon after enlightenment. The other cities in our itinerary like Khajuraho, Jaipur, and Jodhpur display stunning monumental heritage. Of course, we don’t miss Agra and its masterpiece—the Taj Mahal.

Through New Delhi to Agra to Jodhpur and Jaipur; it is all earth and all land. But the experience in Mumbai, the port city of India is a little bit different. And you will completely melt once when you get to the beach of Goa. After traveling through a variety of places and collecting a myriad of experiences, you wind up on this tour. This trip to the unknown will make you closer to India than ever. Join us for an adventure to the land of mystical delights in the India tour with Outdoor Himalayan treks.

Itinerary

Upon landing at the International Airport in New Delhi, our representative will meet you at the airport, greet you, and transfer you to your hotel. You will stay there for the night.

Make a detailed exploration of Delhi today. Visit Qutab Minar, a UNESCO world heritage site, the Birla Temple, Raj Ghat and other happening places of New and Old Delhi. Spend another night in the hotel in Delhi.

Early in the morning, board a flight from Delhi to Varanasi, one of the oldest hubs of the Hindu civilization. Befitting its most enduring spiritual heritage, there are hundreds of temples and Hindu monastic schools in Varanasi. The city is deeply immersed in its spiritual aura. You will literally be transferred into an otherworldly experience when you observe the evening AARATI in the banks of the river Ganges.

For more of the divine aura filling Varanasi, we get up early in the morning and go to the holy river Ganges to see the view of sunrise and the life of the pilgrims in the Ghats. Then we go to Sarnath, where the Buddha had delivered the first sermon after his enlightenment. Hence from one of the holiest Hindu site to another holiest Buddhist site. In the evening, return to Varanasi and spend your night there.

After having breakfast, fly to Khajuraho from Varanasi. Khajuraho has many temples dedicated to the Hindu gods and goddesses, some of them going back to the 10th century A D. The temples also have a lot of erotic carvings.

We have dedicated a full day for you to explore the temples’ architecture, their sculpture, and carvings in some detail.

We spend almost the entire day traveling, stopping at Orchha to marvel at its marvelous temples and monuments with magnificent mural paintings. In the evening, we reach Agra and spend our night there.

Have breakfast and make a visit to the Taj Mahal, one of Seven Wonders of the World. No other monuments here may rival the majesty of the Taj Mahal, but there is definitely something to be seen in the Agra Fort, made up of red sandstone. Then we have lunch and drive to Jaipur, stopping at Fatehpur Sikri just to marvel at the level of luxury the kings enjoyed in the past.

In Jaipur, we visit the magnificent Amber Fort, built by the Moghul emperors in the 18th century. Also, discover the Pink City and make a visit to the Hawa Mahal, literally the “windy palace.”

After a long drive for about 300 kilometers, we reach Jodhpur. We spend our night at Jodhpur.

After enjoying breakfast, we go for a sightseeing tour of Jodhpur. It is a city founded in the middle of the 16th century AD, by Prince Jodha belonging to the Rathore clan. The places of special importance are Mehrangarh Fort, Moti Mahal, Phool Mahal, Jaswant Thada and other public gardens as well.

Today we drive from Jodhpur to Udaipur, visiting Ranakpur and Kumbhalgarh. We reach Udaipur and spend our night there.

Udaipur is another famous tourist destination of India. There are many places to go and see here, including the City Palace museum, the Jagadish temple, the Sahelion ki Bari, Kala Mandir and others.

Have breakfast in the morning and fly to Mumbai from Udaipur. Mumbai is a modern metropolitan, port city of India. You see the modernized, industrialized face of India at one of its best forms in Mumbai. Do not forget to visit the Gateway of India, a monument that harks back to the colonial times.

Have breakfast in the morning and prepare yourself for the flight to Goa, the most famous Indian beach. Check into your hotel and refresh yourself. If you have leisure time, just hang out on the beach in the evening.

Apart from hanging out at the beach, swimming, and trying other available water sports, you can explore the local shops and buy some souvenir. Goa is the most famous, most live and most vibrant beach destination in India. You can perfectly lose yourself in the crowd.

In the morning, fly from Goa to New Delhi.

We drop you at the airport and you head out to your destination.
