From secular to the holiest, from the erotic sculpture to the titillating beach of Goa, from the towns rooted in ancient history to the simmering modernity in Mumbai, India in a Kaleidoscope provides you what its title exactly indicates. It is almost impossible to cover all the happening tourist destinations of this vast nation in a single package, but this goes a long way towards including the most happening ones. The tour starts in New Delhi, the sprawling capital city of a nation that is asserting its place in the world order. Then we move to the Varanasi, one of the oldest centers of the Hindu religion. Take in its holy aura and again add more of the sacred experience in Sarnath. Sarnath is the place where Gautama the Buddha had delivered his first sermon after enlightenment. The other cities in our itinerary like Khajuraho, Jaipur and Jodhpur display stunning monumental heritage, some going back to a millennium. Of course, we do not miss Agra and its masterpiece—the Taj Mahal.

Through New Delhi to Agra to Jodhpur and Jaipur, it is all earth, all land. But the experience in Mumbai, the port city of India is a bit different. And you will completely melt once you get into the beach of Goa. After traveling thus through a variety of places and collecting myriad of experiences, you wind up this India travel after returning to Delhi.

Day 1: Fly from Kathmandu to New Delhi
Upon landing at the International Airport in New Delhi, our representative will meet you at the airport, greet you, and transfer you to your hotel. You will stay there for the night.

Day 2: Delhi Exploration
Make a detailed exploration of Delhi today. Visit Qutab Minar, a UNESCO world heritage site, the Birla Temple, Raj Ghat and other happening places of New and Old Delhi. Spend another night in the hotel in Delhi.

Day 3: Fly from Delhi to Varanasi and Explore Varanasi
Early in the morning, board a flight from Delhi to Varanasi, one of the oldest hubs of the Hindu civilization. Befitting its most enduring spiritual heritage, there are hundreds temples and Hindu monastic schools in Varanasi. The city is deeply immersed in its spiritual aura. You will literally be transferred into an otherworldly experience when you observe the evening AARATI in the banks of the river Ganges.

Day 4: Sunrise view from Varanasi and move to Sarnath
For more of the divine aura filling Varanasi, we get up early in the morning and go to the holy river Ganges to see the view of sunrise and the life of the pilgrims in the Ghats. Then we go to Sarnath, where the Budhha had delivered the first sermon after his enlightenment. Hence from one of the holiest Hindu site to another holiest Budhhist site. In the evening, return to Varanasi and spend your night there.

Day 5: Fly from Varanasi to Khajuraho
After having breakfast, fly to Khajuraho from Varanasi. Khajuraho has many temples dedicated to the Hindu gods and goddesses, some of them going back to the 10th century A D. The temples also have a lot of erotic carvings.

Day 6: Khajuraho Exploration
We have dedicated a full day for you to explore the temples’ architecture, their sculpture, and carvings in some detail.

Day 7: Khajuraho to Agra via Orchha and Jhansi
We spend almost the entire day in traveling, stopping at Orchha to marvel at its marvelous temples and monuments with magnificent mural paintings. In the evening, we reach Agra and spend our night there.

Day 8: Explore Agra and Move from Agra to Jaipur
Have breakfast and make a visit to the Taj Mahal, one of Seven Wonders of the World. No other monuments here may rival the majesty of the Taj Mahal, but there is definitely something to be seen in the Agra Fort, made up of red sandstone. Then we have lunch and drive to Jaipur, stopping at Fatepur Sikri just to marvel at the level of luxury the kings enjoyed in the past.

Day 9: Jaipur Exploration
In Jaipur, we visit the magnificent Amber Fort, built by the Moghul emperors in the 18th century. Also discover the Pink City and make a visit to the Hawa Mahal, literally the “windy palace.”

Day 10: Drive from Jaipur to Jodhpur
After a long drive for about 300 kilometers, we reach Jodhpur. We spend our night at Jodhpur.

Day 11: Jodhpur Sightseeing
After enjoying breakfast, we go for a sightseeing tour of Jodhpur. It is a city founded in the middle of the 16th century A D, by Prince Jodha belonging to Rathore clan. The places of special importance are Mehrangarh Fort, Moti Mahal, Phool Mahal, Jaswant Thada and other public gardens as well.

Day 12: Drive from Jodhpur to Udaipur
Today we drive from Jodhpur to Udaipur, visiting Ranakpur and Kumbhalgarh. We reach Udaipur and spend our night there.

Day 13: Udaipur Sightseeing
Udaipur is another famous tourist destination of India. There are many places to go and see here, including the City Palace museum, the Jagadish temple, the Sahelion ki Bari, Kala Mandir and others.

Day 14: Fly from Udaipur to Mumbai
Have breakfast in the morning and fly to Mumbai from Udaipur. Mumbai is a modern metropolitan, port city of India. You see the modernized, industrialized face of India at one of its best forms in Mumbai. Do not forget to visit the Gateway of India, a monument that harks back to the colonial times.

Day 15: Fly from Mumbai to Goa
Have breakfast in the morning and prepare yourself for the flight to Goa, the most famous Indian beach. Check into your hotel and refresh yourself. If you have leisure time, just hang out in the beach in the evening.

Day 16: Goa hangout day
Apart from hanging out in the beach, swimming, and trying other available water sports, you can explore the local shops and buy some souvenir. Goa is the most famous, most live and most vibrant beach destination in India. You can perfectly lose yourself in the crowd.

Day 17: Fly from Goa to Delhi
In the morning, fly from Goa to New Delhi.

Day 18: International Departure
We drop you at the airport and you head out to your destination.
