  Helambu Trek - 7 Days

  Helambu

Helembu is situated about 72 kms northeast of Kathmandu and is highly acclaimed for the scenic grandeur and pleasant climate it offers. The Helambu region extends from north of Taramarang to Gosainkunda Lake and the lower slopes of Jugal Himal. There are several highland Tamang and Sherpa villages, scattered on both sides of the Malemchi Khola in this very region.

This weeklong treks is considered easy because of the well established trail that involves less climbing, elevation ranging from 800 m to 3600 m. Also, this region is not as crowded as the Annapurna or Everest regions, and hence you can continue your trek without any interference. Do not miss this amazing opportunity to explore some of the least known areas of Nepal and to experience the rich culture and spectacular natural beauty. During your trip you will be able to see beautiful peaks like Langtang Ri, Ganesh Himal, Lang Sisa, Chorkari Ri and many other peaks over 6000 m and also explore the village of Langtang, which is famous for the centuries old culture with a Tibetan touch.
