Ganesh Himal Trek - 16 Days |
| |

| |
If you wish to explore some of the least frequented trekking areas in the Himalayas, the Ganesh Himal Trek is perfect option for you. With our professional and efficient team you can have an unparalleled experience of the rustic lifestyle plus the natural wonders in the remote places near Ganesh Himal, the peak named after Hindu deity, Ganesh.
Compared to the usual treks, this one is a bit demanding in the sense that you have to forget about luxuries and depend on some very basic food and travelling accessories. Once the trek begins, you will be spending the nights in tents and will have to get used to the locally available food, prepared by your cook. A proper method of water purification will be provided so that you get perfectly safe drinking water throughout the trek.
It will not take very long for you to realise that after all the efforts you have made, this trek is in fact equally rewarding. You will get to visit two historical temples (Gorakhanath and Kali), cross two high altitude passes (Singa La and Pansang La) and see some old settlements of Gurung and other ethnic people. The region is also the natural habitat of about 526 plant species, 300 bird species and wild animals like the Himalayan Thar, Gaur, monkeys and musk deer. |
