Daman Overland Tour in Daman offers a hilltop lying at a high altitude (about 2400m) in the Mahabharat mountain range. Situated within a distance of 80 km from Kathmandu valley along the Tribhuvan Highway. It takes roughly four hours’ drive to reach the place. It has been a magnetic stopover drawing national and international visitors. Because they can view several mountain vistas covering nearly 400 km from a view tower built in the place. Spot some of the tallest peaks of Nepal like Annapurna I, Manaslu, Ganesh Himal, Langtang, Dorje Lakpa, Gaurishankar, Cho Oyu, and Mt Everest. In the Himalayan range, it covers almost half of its length in Nepal! Besides enjoying magnificent sceneries, you can also engage in short hiking around the area. Also, engage in rock climbing, and cycle as well. All in all, this is a place well worth a visit.

Spend a night there, and watch the enticing sunrises and sunsets and the colors they paint over the slopes of the mighty Himalayas. You can scarcely dream more of a short vacation in Kathmandu.

Itinerary

Our office representative will be ready to welcome you as you land at the Tribhuvan International Airport. Then he will assist you to reach your hotel. Refresh, and unwind yourself at your hotel. If you get time, consider visiting the Kathmandu Durbar Square or the Swyambhunath Stupa, popularly known as the monkey temple for its lively troops of monkeys.


Have breakfast in the morning and drive to Daman. It takes nearly four hours to reach there although the distance is only 80 kilometers. But the road offers a lot of spectacular mountain scenes. Take enough of them even as the vehicle moves through numerous curves and bends in the mountainous trail.


Wake up early in the morning and watch the indescribably beautiful sunrise over the Himalayan mountains. You cannot help feeling a sense of ecstasy and excitement as the first rays of the sun kiss the snow-covered mountain slopes and emitting a golden glow all overYou can do some hiking around the place and take in the cool, fresh air. Immerse yourself in the serenity and freshness of the place. Then have lunch and drive to Kathmandu.


We will drop you at the airport and see you off. But consider spending a few more nights in Kathmandu. If you want to explore this city, it will take more than two days because it is often referred to as the living museum of Nepal with numerous temples, stupas and other monuments spread over the valley.

  • Free cancellation up to 60 days prior departure
  • 30% of the total cost of the trip will be charged if cancelled between 60 to 30 days prior to departure date
  • 60% of total cost of the trip will be charged if cancelled in between 30 to 14 days prior to departure date. 
  • No refund will be provided if cancelled within 14 days prior of departure date.
  • No refunded will be provided if the guest will not show up. 
  • Regrettably, in case where the trek/tour can not be completed due to customer's own problem or sickness or unfavourable weather there will be no refund. 
  • If the trekking/tour is extended more than given itinerary extra charge will be applied accordingly 
  • If the agreed trip can not be organised due to bad weather or any unforeseen events, similar trip will be organised (in the mutual understanding with the travellers)
